In Glovo, we want to change the way consumers buy groceries, and we believe that if we want to revolutionize the industry, we need to deliver a WOW experience to our clients.
To reach this WOW effect you will be managing and coordinating our different micro fulfillment centers (warehouses) within your city. Your goal will be to quickly adapt the operation of each Micro Fulfillment Centers, co-managing the assortment and pricing and to be a hero leader to your team.
Be a part of a team where you will:
Be the owner of the operations, ops strategy and P&L; for the Glovo Micro Fulfillment Centers business (warehouses) in Spain and Portugal operating a network of more than 10 cities and more than 40 darkstores
Be the ultimate owner of the operational excellence and the user experience of the customer of Glovo Micro Fulfillment Centers by designing, implementing and constantly improving warehouse operations and processes
Be the ultimate owner of the Glovo Micro Fulfillment Centers P&L; in Spain and Portugal, ensure cost efficiency as well as operational excellence and flawless customer experience
Manage a team of Area Managers, Store Managers, picker leads and pickers of around 400 people
Coordinate the expansion and launch of new Glovo Micro Fulfillment Centers and new cities
Develop the Glovo Micro Fulfillment Centers business model with a 360º mindset
Work with a cross-functional team (operations, marketing, finance, procurement…) to achieve quick and flawless execution
Lead project implementation analysis and translate it into actionable tasks to ensure continuous improvement
Direct Report to the Head of Q-Commerce
10 years of experience as an operations manager in warehousing or retail, managing large teams
Operations or SC background with great people skills
Relevant experience communicating with senior leadership
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations or related field
Accomplished performance in overseeing project deliveries (time, budget)
Lean management methodologies
Problem solving & analytical skills
High level of Spanish and English
